This winery has been working with this white-skinned mutation of Pinot Noir for years and for this cuvee, fermented a portion of this wine on skins for 5 months in order to build structure and character. Discovered by Henri Gouges in Burgundy in the 1930's, he decided to isolate this viticultural anomaly rather than blend it away, and we welcome the opportunity to experience this rare varietal from the Willamette Valley.
